Alda Mugnai
Story: Alda is the daughter of Efraim and Giulia Mugnai and the sister of James and Alex. Stories have been told that she was quite the woman. She could work on engines, ride motor bikes, travel and taught cadets to fly. Betty Murphy a cousin who is the daughter to Stephen Mugnai told us that once Alda was with a girlfriend and was showing her a gun and it went off hitting the girlfriend. (The girl was injured and not killed). Betty also told us that Alda and her Father Efraim did some acting in Chicago. Alda rode motorbikes with Alex to California.
Alda disappeared Sept 1, 1947 while on her way to seek work. She was flying from Astoria, Or to North Bend. She has never been found. I am still searching.......
